INITIAL – BASIC SAFETY TRAINING CERTIFICATE

PUBLIC CONCERNED

To carry out duties on board commercial or pleasure vessels armed with a crew role, the basic safety training certificate is required for all ‘seafarers’.

PREREQUISITES

  • To have a seafarer’s number
  • To have an up-to-date medical examination at the time of the course

OBJECTIVES

To achieve the minimum standard of competence required by the STCW Code 2010 A-VI/1 and table A-VI/1-2, as well as by the Order of 9 March 2015 relating to the issue of the basic safety training certificate.

Obtaining the following certificates:

  • Individual Survival Technique
  • Medical I
  • FBLI
  • SPRS

    15 hours

    11 hours

  • FBLI :

    18 hours

  • 22 trainees in 2023
  • 2 sessions with an average of 11 trainees per session in 2023.

  • 6 sessions with an average of 12 trainees per session in 2023.
