A major player in its field, STAPEM OFFSHORE provides marine and subsea technical support and maintenance for offshore installations in the oil and gas industry. STAPEM OFFSHORE has been operating mainly in Angola for over 30 years, as well as in Senegal and the Middle East, particularly Qatar.

We are looking for a Fleet Superintendent whose main scope will initially involve 2 Damen Fast Crew Supplier 2610 (engines: 2x Caterpillar C32 TTA B) based in Senegal and 1 Offshore Support Vessel & 2 Offshore Diving Support Catamaran (engines: 2x HamiltonJet Hj403) based in Angola and secondarily 1 chartered vessel: the tug/support vessel ‘Komodo’.

The main role is to ensure compliance of vessels, class and flag monitoring with international and local regulations and company and customer standards. To guarantee the safety, operational performance and reliability of the vessels while optimising operating costs.
This is achieved through:
-regulatory and safety compliance
-operational support
-maintenance and repairs
-crew management
-budgetary control
-reporting and performance monitoring;
-participation in the FSO maintenance process.

Profile:
Merchant Navy Officer 1st or 2nd class or Naval Engineer.
In-depth knowledge of international maritime regulations
Expertise in ship maintenance and management of technical stoppages
Mastery of fleet management software (Mastex)
Bilingual French & fluent English

At least 5 years’ experience as a Merchant Navy Officer or in a similar role ashore (Superintendent, Technical Manager, etc.). Oil & Gas and/or diving support experience would be appreciated.
Experience on Damen Fast Crew Supplier 2610 or DSV / ODSC jet propulsion vessels or equivalent is a plus.

The rotation rhythm is 5 weeks of work and 5 weeks of recuperation.

Position based in Luanda (Angola) with frequent travel for on-board visits or work supervision.
Start date during the 1st quarter of 2025.
