ENSM recruits teachers for 2025
Recruitment throughout the year
ENSM recruits teachers throughout the year at its sites in Le Havre, Saint-Malo, Nantes and Marseille, to train merchant navy officers and marine engineers. Depending on the candidate’s career plans, he or she may move on to management positions.
Integration into these new positions will be facilitated by the provision of documentary resources, tutoring by an experienced peer and the possibility of individual coaching by an educational engineer.
ENSM welcomes, supports and trains all future teachers in :
- Classroom management
- Course construction
- Implementing curricula (reference frameworks)
It's possible to return to the sea
If the candidate is pursuing a career ashore, opting to teach for a few years or many more, or wishes to pass on his or her knowledge and experience while pursuing your career, ENSM offers a number of different formulas.
Sailors can apply for a secondment of a few years to teach at the School, while retaining their status as sailors (details here).
Employment conditions
- Remuneration depends on professional experience, and can be reviewed every 3 years. Example: 12 years’ experience after DESMM = €3,000 net / month. Send us your CV for a personalized study.
- ENIM membership, subject to conditions.
- 300 hours of face-to-face teaching in 1st year.
