Electrotechnical Officer/ETO
Ref : CREW/OE/2502-001

Description of the position and duties:
You will be taken on board the EXPLORIS ONE, a ship belonging to the French expedition cruise company EXPLORIS.
You will be responsible, among other things, for :
* General operation of the electrical installations and maintenance of related equipment, as delegated by the Chief Engineer,
* Electrical installation safety
* Planning, organising and supervising work on electrical installations,
* Maintaining the ship’s electrical installations in a state of compliance (preventive and corrective maintenance),
* Management of spare parts and stocks required for the maintenance of electrical installations,
* Organising and monitoring requests for work,
* Preparing and monitoring technical shutdowns in collaboration with the technical department/fleet manager,
* Preparing, organising and carrying out machine inspections,
* Involvement in safety and security exercises and training.
Your duties will be carried out under the responsibility of the Chief Engineer.
You will report all your activities on the company information system.

Profile required:
With an electrical engineering/ETO officer’s certificate (STCW A-III/6), you have significant experience on board commercial vessels, ideally in the cruise sector.
Good knowledge of computer/CMMS tools,
Fluency in English,
Up-to-date medical fitness,
Valid STCW certificates,
Thoroughness, ability to analyse and make decisions, organisation, adaptability, teamwork, motivation to join a new company that is currently expanding.

Terms and conditions of employment
Contract: Fixed-term contract for the first 2 embarkations, then permanent contract,
Regime: ENIM, 11th Category,
Rotation: 2 months/2 months (+ or – 15 days),
Mutual insurance and provident scheme,
Start of contract: April 2025
