Formal start of the Year in Saint-Malo with the Minister

The formal first day at school for 60 new students in the program Officer in charge of a engineering watch / Chief engineer 8000 kW, delivered in Saint-Malo, was marked by the presence of Hervé Berville, Secretary of State to the Prime Minister, in charge of the Sea.
The Great “Temoin” of the ceremony was Jean-Marc ROUE, President of Brittany Ferries.

Loïg Chesnay-Girard, President of the Region Brittany and Gilles Lurton, Mayor of Saint-Malo and president of the group of communities, once again supported the Academy by reinstating their attachment to the institution and congratulated the new students for their choice.

Frederic Moncany of St-Aignan, President of the French Maritime Academy, ENSM, introduced the new Director General, Francis Lambert who took up his post on September 1, 2022, alongside Luc VARIN Director of the Saint-Malo campus since June, and congratulated the new students.

Many officials, shipowners and representatives of State bodies, shared this event with the Academy staff and the 2022 students.
