E-PANEMA aims to provide practical solutions to a wide range of needs and situations, including :
- Anti-collision
- anti-grounding
- Navigation in poor visibility
- Manoeuvring assistance: securing harbour approaches, man overboard, etc.
- Precise, qualified and robust positioning in all conditions, particularly in navigation situations where GPS is not available (polar routes, electromagnetic interference or jamming).
The expected benefits are safer navigation, including with a reduced crew and in all difficult navigation conditions, reduced fuel consumption, and simplified and faster port operations.
