– Knowledge of basic features of Maritime Mobile Service and Maritime Mobile Satellite Service (Inmarsat – Cospas Sarsat)
– Detailed and practical knowledge of the operation of the basic equipment of a ship station (VHF – MF – HF)
– General radiocommunication knowledge and operating procedures
– A week of theory
– One week of simulator practice
