BASIC TRAINING CERTIFICATE FOR SERVICE ON VESSELS SUBJECT TO THE IGF CODE
AUDIENCE CONCERNED
Seamen responsible for specific safety-related tasks associated with fuel precautions on board vessels subject to the IGF Code, the use of those fuels and emergency response on board vessels subject to the IGF Code.
PREREQUISITES
Hold a seafarer’s doctor’s certificate stating seaworthiness less than 12 months old
OBJECTIVES
Acquire basic theoretical concepts regarding safety, product handling procedures and vessel descriptions.
DURATION
18 hours (15h theory + 3h simulator)
