- Understand the role of everyone on board
- Understanding maritime training and its rules
- Understand crew composition and rules
- Understand the training and certification required for crews serving on the company’s ships
- Understand the prerogatives of the French flag
- Understand the shipowner’s responsibilities towards the crew
