A major player in its field, STAPEM OFFSHORE provides marine and subsea technical support and maintenance for offshore installations in the oil and gas industry. STAPEM OFFSHORE has been operating mainly in Angola for over 30 years, as well as in Senegal and the Middle East, particularly Qatar.

To take part in diving & ROV operations offshore Angola, we are looking for a Captain 500 UMS m/f on a 20m jet vessel (Offshore Diving Support Catamaran equipped with Hamilton MECS systems).

500 UMS Captain’s certificate
Up to date with the following qualifications:
– CFBS (Basic Safety Training Certificate)
– Medical II
– CAEERS (Certificat d’Aptitude à l’Exploitation des Embarcations et Radeaux de Sauvetage – Certificate of Ability to Operate Rescue Boats and Rafts)
– CQALI (Advanced Firefighting Qualification Certificate)
– CGO (General Operator’s Certificate)
– BRM (Bridge Resources Management)
– ECDIS (Electronic Chart Display Information System)
Certificat d’Aptitude médicale du médecin des gens de mer (Seafarers’ Medical Aptitude Certificate) valid without restriction
You have an excellent knowledge of safety and security management in accordance with international regulations (ISM, ISPS).
You have a strong HSE culture.

Previous captain’s experience on a catamaran-type vessel equipped with a jet would be highly appreciated.
Experience as an onboard mechanic
A level of spoken and written English is required

The rotation rhythm is 5 weeks of work and 5 weeks of recuperation.

Entry into post ASAP/as soon as possible (depending on the candidate’s availability).
