Certified 3000 kW chief mechanic (M/F)
We are recruiting a validated 3000 kW Chief Engineer (M/F) to strengthen our teams on our freshwater fishing vessels.
Reporting to the skipper, you will be the head of the engine department and as such will be responsible for the preventive and corrective maintenance of the engine, auxiliaries and other equipment on board the vessel.
You will also be responsible for keeping the engine logbook and regulatory documents.
Excellent multidisciplinary technical knowledge is required for this position:
– Proficiency in operating machinery and auxiliaries
– Competence in diesel mechanics, general mechanics, hydraulics, refrigeration, electricity and electronics
– In charge of inventories and machine controls
– Monitoring technical stoppages
Rigour, adaptability, good interpersonal skills, organisational ability and commitment are required for this position.
Professional qualifications :
Up-to-date STCW certificates
Medical fitness for seafarers
English (read, written, spoken) is a plus
Enim: 15th category.
