A major player in its field, STAPEM OFFSHORE provides marine and subsea technical support and maintenance for offshore installations in the oil and gas industry. STAPEM OFFSHORE has been operating mainly in Angola for over 30 years, as well as in Senegal and the Middle East, particularly Qatar.

We are looking for a Fleet Methods Engineer to initially work on 2 Damen Fast Crew Supplier 2610 (engines: 2x Caterpillar C32 TTA B) based in Senegal and 1 Offshore Support Vessel & 2 Offshore Diving Support Catamaran (engines: 2x HamiltonJet Hj403) based in Angola and secondarily on 1 chartered vessel: the tug/support vessel ‘Komodo’.

The main role is to develop, improve and standardise ship maintenance and operating methods to guarantee the reliability, safety and economic performance of the fleet.
This will be achieved through:
-development and standardisation of methods;
-management and monitoring of preventive maintenance;
-performance analysis and continuous improvement;
-training and technical support;
-contribution to technical projects;
-audits and compliance

Profile:
Diplôme d’Officier de la Marine Marchande de 1ère ou 2ende classe ou diplôme d’ingénieur en génie maritime, mécanique ou équivalent
In-depth knowledge of marine equipment (engines, thrusters, hydraulic systems, Clim & Froid, Dynamic Positioning, Navigation, etc.)
Mastery of MaxSuite maintenance management software and data analysis tools
Good understanding of international maritime regulations
Bilingual French & fluent English

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role or in merchant marine maintenance. Oil & Gas and/or diving support experience would be appreciated.
Experience of Damen Fast Crew Supplier 2610 or DSV / ODSC jet-powered vessels or equivalent is a plus.

The rotation rhythm is 5 weeks of work and 5 weeks of recuperation.

Position based in Luanda (Angola) with frequent travel for on-board visits or work supervision.
Start date during the 2nd quarter of 2025.
