Position available immediately:

Towing company based in Bastia, looking for a seaman with a 3000 or 8000 kw master certificate;
The company is part of a group that offers oil and gas depots a wide range of surface and underwater marine services, on oil berths 10 miles from the port of Bastia.
Our company is also the only one approved for port towage in the port of Bastia.
We remain committed to providing a local service that is as close as possible to our customers and shipping companies, while maintaining a high standard of service quality.
You will take part in the company’s various towing missions.
You will maintain the tugs – preventive maintenance and repairs – so that they are operational, both in the workshop and on board.
You will have at least 5 years’ professional experience in the technical operation of ships or in naval maintenance.
Good multidisciplinary technical knowledge is required for the job.
– You will participate in the selection of specialists, shipyards and suppliers, and negotiate contracts under the authority of the Technical Director.
– You will prepare and supervise technical shutdowns
– You will participate in the implementation of safety policies and practices;

– You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the regulations and technical requirements of the classification society.
You have a strong ability to adapt.
Rigorous, organised and autonomous, you are a good listener, good communicator and you know how to work as part of a team.
Work schedule: 169 days holiday/year, 196 days worked on the basis of 1820 hours per year.
Open-ended contract under the ENIM scheme (Category 15), leading to tenure.

Net salary depending on experience: 2800€- 3500€ /month.
