We are currently looking for a chief mechanic for our yacht based in the south of France. The 34m vessel is powered by 3 MTU engines and sails along the French Riviera, Corsica, Sardinia, Italy and the Balearic Islands.

The Chief Engineer will work alongside the Captain to ensure the smooth running and maintenance of the various equipment on board, in particular the main engines, the generator and the air conditioning. He/she will also be responsible for the inventory, stock and ordering of the necessary parts, as well as maintenance planning.

The contract offered is a 9-month fixed-term contract with the possibility of a permanent contract.
Applicants must hold an 8000 kw or unlimited chief engineer’s certificate, have an up-to-date safety certificate (CFBS, CQALI, CAEERS), be fluent in French and English, and have an up-to-date medical certificate.
