A major player in its field, STAPEM OFFSHORE provides marine and subsea technical support and maintenance for offshore installations in the oil and gas industry. STAPEM OFFSHORE operates mainly in the Gulf of Guinea, Angola and Congo, where it has been present for 30 years, as well as in Senegal and the Middle East, particularly Qatar.
We are looking for a Engine Watch Officer / Chief Engineer 3000kw m/f to work on a Damen Fast Crew Supplier 2610 (engines: 2x Caterpillar C32 TTA B; total power: up to 1790 bkW (2400 bhp); generator: 1x Caterpillar C2.2 NA) which is tasked with ‘patrolling’/monitoring around offshore installations in Senegal to liaise/diplomatise with local fishermen in the safety zone or in support of diving operations.

Profile
Licensed as Engine Shift Supervisor or Chief Engineer 3000kw
Up-to-date STCW certificates required for the position.
Valid medical certificate.
Previous experience on Damen Fast Crew Supplier 2610 vessels or Caterpillar C32 TTA B engines would be highly appreciated.
Experience as an on-board mechanic.
The rotation is 5 weeks on and 5 weeks off.
Starting date 04/12/2024.
