PRESENTATION OF THE COMPANY
The Compagnie Maritime des Iles is based in Noumea, New Caledonia, and operates a 64m LTC, the M/V ISAN, equipped for International Cabotage, which sails on a weekly basis between the mainland and the Loyalty Islands. It carries goods in bulk, containers, vehicles and/or Cl2 and Cl3 hydrocarbons.
The company is recruiting an OCQM (M/F) for a double crew.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The OCQM is responsible for machine operation and preventive maintenance under the authority of the Chief Engineer. He/she will work closely with the company’s Technical Department to carry out his/her duties.
Work schedule: 2 weeks at sea / 2 weeks off.
The working language is French.
1-year fixed-term contract / or permanent contract (ENIM) with passage paid for (ticket / personal effects).

PROFILE SOUGHT
Individuals with significant experience as an Engineering Officer.
Up-to-date French certification required: CFSS, CFBS, CAEERS, CQALI + OCQM 15,000 kW certificate.
Rigour, autonomy and motivation are the qualities expected for this position.
