GAZOCEAN, a shipping company, is recruiting a Warranty Monitoring Manager on an 18-month fixed-term contract.

Within the technical department, you will work under the directives of the Technical Director and in liaison with the vessel managers. You will be responsible for monitoring guarantees for new vessels.

Your main tasks will be

– Follow-up, management and updating of follow-up files until the closure of warranty claims reported on board;
– Monitoring the delivery of parts in coordination with the purchasing department;
– Liaising with shipyards, vessels, vessel managers and shipowners;
– Weekly reports to shipowners.

Non-exhaustive list

You are trained as a merchant navy officer or naval architect with a good technical knowledge of ships.

You have good communication skills with company staff, vessels and external third parties.
Fluent English required.
