WEAPONS TECHNICIAN
Reporting to the Technical Manager, you will be involved in the technical monitoring and maintenance of the vessels in the fleet and will ensure the availability of the vessels in the fleet in collaboration with the on-board mechanical officer.
In this role, you will be responsible for :
Participating in the general maintenance of the ships in collaboration with the engineering officers and captains
Carry out specific troubleshooting and implement solutions.
Taking part in technical shutdowns and periodic inspections.
Reporting faults to the shipowner and providing analysis reports where necessary.
Participating in the monitoring and maintenance of spare parts stocks, in particular critical parts for the entire fleet.
Participate in the ship’s regulatory compliance (maritime affairs and BV, monitoring, preparation and participation in institutional visits, etc.).
Helping to improve preventive maintenance
Helping to improve purchasing management and the use of CMMS.
The position requires :
a minimum 750kw machine licence
Fluency in English (spoken and written)
Ability to analyse and diagnose Ability to take initiatives and make decisions
