Personnel of the Maritime Traffic Service

– Nautical knowledge including charts, international regulations to prevent collisions at sea and aids to navigation
– Possess the SMCP language
– Basic English conversation skills
– Know how to use current telecommunication and detection systems
– Master ship positioning, navigation and identification systems
– Demonstrate ability to use maritime radiocommunications

Acquire the skills to perform tasks related to the vessel traffic management system

– Module 7: Human Factor. Introducing the Influence of Human Behaviour in Critical Situations
